I would really like to get better at this whole blogging thing. I mean I love to write and I love taking pictures of my baby so why not do something about it hummm?

And guess whose preggers again. Me. Due January 21 2011. Not sure if it's a boy or a girl yet but hopefully just one more month till we find out. Very excited. Hoping for a girl so I can dress her as my fairy princess but I'd also be ok with a boy because I love little boys and I already have everything that I need pretty much.

I know Walt would make an awesome big brother to either and is going to be so excited. :)

Bumps and brusies

So Walter in the last two days has given himself 3 big bruises on his face, a small cut on his back and other random bruises all over his body. It seriously looks like I beat my baby. But he just can't help himself from climbing on things and then falling off them and I watch him almost every second of every day but that one second I'm away....BANG!! then a terrible screaming follows and I rush into the room and hold him till he calms down.
Oh and he's a head banger. He smacks his head on everything including me and James. He thinks its fun and its his way of throwing a fit. Walking around in the store, he wants something, I tell him no and then WHAM!! right into my cheek.
I was just wondering if my boy is super clumsy or if other mommies babies are covered in bruises. haha I really hope it's not just me.

The Millers

Its been a little while since I last posted something but that's the way life goes sometimes. :)
Life has been alright a few health and insurance issues(EW!!), but alright.

Walt is sick with the flu. I feel as if he gets sick all the time. I try to disinfect the whole house but he still gets sick *sigh* He is so close to talking I can barely stand it. He nods his head and agrees with me all the time when I ask him if he would like a snack or something like that. He understands most of what me and James tell him. We bought him this cute car that he absolutely loves. He enjoys sitting in it and watching TV or pushing it around the house. He just LOVES it. Haha

James is having his surgery next frida to get his wisdom teeth and the tumor removed. Yes a tumor, the doctors say they aren't too worried about it but would still like to biopsy it just to be on the safe side. He has lost lots of weight due to the south beach diet and he is looking hot Hot HOT!! :P

I'm just fine. No health issues as of now haha. Just working hard to be a good mommy and wifey. trying to stay on top of all the house cleaning but it is a never ending story. Work at Lonestar is good. I'm going to start training to be a bar tender so pretty excited about that.

We had some family pictures taken yesterday by a girl I went to high school with, Quinci Cole of Black Ivory Photography and she did a great job. We had no idea Walter was coming down with the flu but we still got some great shots. I've only seen a few but I'm excited to see the rest. I will post them when i get them. Me and Walle got a little tired of being in the house all the time so when the sun came out so did we. We took a walk to the park and had a great time.

He loved climbing up those steps over and over again and then going down the long slide with mommy.

He had a freakin blast!

Working mommy

So I finally have a job!! Yeah! Alene is a working woman. After a year of looking for a job I finally have one. I will be working nights at Lonestar Steakhouse in Centerville. It will mean that me and James don't get to see each other very often but you have to do but you have to do. I'm really excited and nervous to start this job but i know it will be good. Just wanted to update this so in case I get so busy i don't have time.

Our Story....so far

Well as it's almost the end of the year 2009 and I’ve had this blog account since November 2008 I feel that I should use it finally. It’s something I’ve wanted to do and I'm going to make it one of my new year’s resolutions. :) But where to begin...guess it should be at the beginning. Me and James met at an architectural firm called Design West Architects in April 2007. It started out as mild flirting, nothing mayor but then James decided he wanted to leave for a better job, well I wasn’t just going to let this guy get away that easy so I figured no harm in flirting a little more which then shortly (a few days) turned in to us dating in October of 2007 A few months later we learned I was pregnant and everything changed for us. We were going to be parents, eek! :)

James proposed to me September 10 2008. He first took me to the olive garden which has been a huge inside joke to us our whole relationship that that’s where people in Utah get engaged so if we went there it was for a proposal, but he didn’t do it there instead we went for a long drive up in the mountains looking for somewhere to park so we could watch the sun set. We finally found a little park right above Hogle Zoo and that’s where he asked if I’d marry him.

Pregnancy was very normal and not too terrible. Two weeks earlier then he was suppose to come, the little guy decided he needed out. I woke up from a nap October 25 and was walking to the bathroom when my water decided to break...what a surprise haha we had nothing packed yet so were racing around the house trying to get things together then finally got to the hospital. Walter James Miller was born October 26 2009 5:40 am was 6 lbs 14 ozs and 20 inches long. Cutest baby I had ever seen and we both fell head over heels in love with him. Raising a baby was fun and hard, everyday was something new.

We made our family official when we got married June 12, 2009 at an outdoor ceremony in my mother's backyard, the house I grew up in. It was beautiful. My dress was poofy, James was very handsome and Walter looked sharp in his tux.

We've learned so much the past year it’s crazy. Every day Walter seems to be doing something new. He's walking and getting into everything, He's so close to talking, and we’re guessing anyday now he'll be filling us in on what’s going on in his world. :) We love being a family and doing things together we're hoping that 2010 is just as great a year or even better then 2009.
